The Trauma: Assessment and Management online course, facilitated by Doctor’s place Academy , is designed to provide healthcare professionals with a comprehensive understanding of trauma assessment and management. Over the course of 15 days, participants will gain knowledge and skills necessary to assess and manage various traumatic injuries effectively. The course covers a range of topics, including pre-hospital assessment, primary and secondary surveys, resuscitation, traumatic brain injury, neck and spine trauma, chest trauma, abdominal trauma, pelvic trauma, and extremity trauma.

Module 1: Introduction to Trauma and Pre-Hospital Assessment

️- Explore the primary and secondary survey techniques

- ️Gain knowledge of resuscitation strategies in trauma cases

Module 2: Traumatic Brain Injury and Neck/Spine Trauma

- Learn about different diagnostic tools and imaging techniques

Module 3: Chest Trauma and Abdominal Trauma

- Learn the general approach to abdominal trauma assessment

- Study specific injuries such as liver trauma, spleen trauma, and renal trauma

Module 4: Pelvic Trauma and Extremity Trauma

The online course will be conducted through interactive lectures, case studies, and discussions.
